Has anyone been targeting spot yet? I remember filling the cooler last year, but I can’t remember what time in September. I brought 4 friends who had a great time. I was the mate on that trip and baited hooks for 1 1/2 hours straight. The fishing was red hot.

Anyone found the yellow bellies yet?

Say i wanna put a 17 pound test Fluorocarbon leader on 30 pound power pro. Is the uni to uni a good knot for this or not so much due to the different diameters?

I am new member but I have know some for you for a while now. I am ZOOKER’S little sister. I just now have the time to get onto the site. Zooker talked alot about the site and I have been reading the posts for some time now. THANKS to all of you who know zooker it sure did help getting though the hard times. Thanks bama and lady bama for everything. I hope to be able to fish and talk as good as Zooker did.

Looking to pick up 3-4 cold water suits similar to the Mustang Work Suit and man these things are pricey…a while back there was an ad for a sportsman’s suit, a parka and bib overall that Bass Pro sold or maybe online that was fairly inexpensive ($200-300) ad showed a guy getting into obviously freezing water and floating around…anyone remember what the brand was? Pretty sure they came in bright red and or camo…

So, we are off to a great start and I have other items in the bag that I will be adding to this post over the next few weeks. So check back often to see what we will have on hand to support of fund raising auction.

Met Chris and Nick (aka Fishdaddy and GeorgePBurdell) at the ford today around 5 pm. Fished a RScott stimi with a soft hackle and gold copper john dropper. Fish hit the stimi almost immediately but could not hook up. Finally caught the first fish on the dangle with the copper john. Pounded the water and then around 6:30 started to get some hook ups. Brought a total of 7 fish to hand with the biggest one being a 15" Bow. Beautiful coloring (sorry no camera, but I did have witnesses) and put up a great fight. Most fish were on the bottom dropper (Copper John) with a couple coming on the RScott stimi. Had a great time fishing with Chris and Nick, but I wish I was as smart as those two Georgia Tech boys because they both wore their waders and I decided to wet wade. I froze my Arse off:yikes:
